Winter (December to March) is best for snow leopards and markhor, which come down to lower slopes, and for migratory birds on the wetlands. Summer (June to October) is best for Deosai and Khunjerab. The Indus dolphins and Bahawalpur are best in the cool months, and sea turtles nest from September to December.
Bring good binoculars and, for photographers, a long lens. We carry a spotting scope for the group. In winter, warm layers and good boots are essential in the mountains.
We never bait, call or chase animals, we keep a respectful distance and we follow all park rules. Part of the cost of our mountain wildlife tours supports local community conservation.
Park entry and any permits are arranged by our team. We provide a Letter of Invitation for your visa; see our Pakistan visa guide. Travel insurance is essential; read our travel insurance policy.
