How to Book and Prepare for One Day Tours in Pakistan
How the day works
Your guide and driver meet you at your hotel, usually at 09:00, and the tour lasts about 7 to 10 hours. We can start earlier or later to fit your flights, and shorter half-day versions are possible on request.
Season and weather
Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar and Karachi are most pleasant from October to March. Skardu is best from April to October. Read our guide to the best time to visit Pakistan.
Dress and etiquette
Dress modestly, with arms and legs covered, and carry a scarf for visits to mosques and shrines. Always ask before taking photos of people.
Visas and safety
We provide a Letter of Invitation for your visa; see our Pakistan visa guide. Some areas, such as the Khyber Pass, need extra permits or a police escort, which we check and arrange before your tour.

Yes. Every day tour is private for you, your family or your group, with your own car, driver and guide.
What time does the tour start?
Usually at 09:00 with pick-up from your hotel, but we can change the time to fit your flight, meetings or cruise schedule.
What is included in a one day tour?
Hotel pick-up and drop-off, a private air-conditioned car with driver, an English-speaking guide, entry fees, lunch at a local restaurant and bottled water.
Can I book a day tour at short notice?
Often yes, especially in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi. Message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm availability as quickly as possible.
Can you combine day tours into a longer trip?
Yes. Many guests combine the Islamabad City Tour and the Taxila Day Tour, or add a day tour to one of our multi-day culture tours.
