WHY RENT WITH US

Car Rental in Pakistan Made Easy

When you rent a car in Pakistan with TGA, you get more than a vehicle. Every booking comes with an experienced, English-speaking or local driver who knows the roads, the weather and the best stops along the way. From a one-way airport pickup in Islamabad to a three-week road trip on the Karakoram Highway, we match the right vehicle to your route and group size.

Our drivers have years of experience on mountain roads like the Karakoram Highway, Babusar Pass and the Jaglot–Skardu road. Vehicles are serviced before every long trip, and we keep backup vehicles in the north in case of a breakdown.

HOW IT WORKS

With Driver or Self Drive?

Car with driver (recommended)

Most visitors who rent a car in Pakistan choose a car with a driver. Traffic in cities is busy, mountain roads are narrow, and road signs in rural areas are often in Urdu only. A local driver also helps with directions, police check posts and finding good food stops. Driver food and lodging are arranged by us on multi-day trips.

Self-drive

We do not recommend self-drive in Gilgit-Baltistan or on jeep tracks.

Self-drive rentals are possible in big cities for experienced drivers. You will need

  • A valid passport and Pakistani visa (or a CNIC for residents)
  • A valid driving licence plus an International Driving Permit (IDP)
  • A refundable security deposit
  • An M-Tag on the vehicle for motorways (our cars already have one)
