Northern Pakistan holds some of the most dramatic mountain scenery on earth, and our trekking tours take you right to the foot of it. Five of the world's fourteen 8,000 m peaks stand here, and many of the greatest walks in Asia begin in Skardu, Gilgit and Hunza.
Our 12 treks range from gentle walks to Rama Meadows and short hikes above Hunza to the base camps of K2 (8,611 m), Nanga Parbat (8,126 m) and Rakaposhi (7,788 m), and full Karakoram crossings such as the Gondogoro La and Snow Lake.
Every trip is run end to end by our own team from Gilgit-Baltistan. You walk with a light daypack; we take care of everything else.

No climbing skills are needed on any of our treks. The Nanga Parbat and Rakaposhi routes have short days of three to seven hours, with one longer push to base camp. The K2 Base Camp Trek means six to eight hours a day on rough glacier moraine for more than a week, so good health and some multi-day hiking experience are essential.
Our itineraries gain height gradually and build in rest and acclimatisation days. Guides are trained to spot the early signs of altitude sickness, and the safety of the group always comes before the schedule.
The northern trekking season runs from June to September, when the passes are open and the meadows are green. July and August usually bring the steadiest weather on the Baltoro. See our best time to visit Pakistan guide for month-by-month detail.
The K2 region is a restricted zone that needs a trekking permit and a licensed guide, which we arrange. Other treks need only local registration, handled by our team. Book a tour with us and we handle your visa; read our Pakistan visa guide. Travel insurance with high-altitude and rescue cover is essential, see our travel insurance policy and the UK Pakistan travel advice.
