The Kartarpur Sahib Yatra is a 3-day pilgrimage from Lahore to Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur in Narowal, where Guru Nanak Dev Ji spent the last 18 years of his life, founded the first Sikh community and left this world.
Kartarpur Sahib, on the banks of the Ravi River near Narowal, is one of the holiest places in Sikhism. Guru Nanak Dev Ji settled here, worked the land, founded the first Sikh community and shared langar with all, and it is here that he left this world. The beautiful white Gurdwara Darbar Sahib now stands in a large, peaceful complex.
On the Kartarpur Sahib Yatra we drive from Lahore to Kartarpur for a full day of darshan, kirtan and langar, and also visit the main Sikh sites of Lahore, including Gurdwara Dera Sahib and the Samadhi of Maharaja Ranjit Singh.

The Kartarpur Sahib Yatra is the simplest way to visit one of the most sacred places in Sikhism. The drive from Lahore is short, and a full day at Kartarpur allows time for prayer without rushing.
Combine it with our Nankana Sahib Yatra to visit both the birthplace and final home of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, or join the Grand Sikh Yatra of Pakistan.
Before you travel, read our Pakistan visa guide and our advice on travel insurance, or browse all our Sikh yatra tours in Pakistan.

We plan unhurried time for darshan, ardaas, kirtan and seva at each gurdwara, and langar is served at most of them. Tell us your wishes and we will plan the day around them.
We provide a Letter of Invitation for most nationalities, including Sikhs from the UK, Canada, the USA and Europe. Indian yatris usually travel under special government arrangements, and we can advise on the process.
Cover your head, remove your shoes and wash your feet before entering. Tobacco and alcohol are not allowed in gurdwaras. Modest dress is expected.
