The Grand Sikh Yatra of Pakistan is a 10-day pilgrimage to the most important Sikh shrines in the country: Panja Sahib, Chowa Sahib at Rohtas, Rori Sahib in Eminabad, Kartarpur Sahib, the gurdwaras of Lahore, Sacha Sauda and Nankana Sahib.
The Grand Sikh Yatra follows the path of Guru Nanak Dev Ji across Punjab, from Hasan Abdal in the north to Nankana Sahib, his birthplace. It brings together the main Sikh shrines of Pakistan in one carefully planned journey.
We begin at Gurdwara Panja Sahib, visit Gurdwara Chowa Sahib near Rohtas Fort and Gurdwara Rori Sahib in Eminabad, spend a full day at Kartarpur Sahib, explore Sikh Lahore, and end at Gurdwara Sacha Sauda and the gurdwaras of Nankana Sahib.

The Grand Sikh Yatra is the most complete pilgrimage to the Sikh shrines of Pakistan, with time at each gurdwara for darshan, kirtan, langar and seva. It is the journey of a lifetime for many Sikh families.
For shorter trips, choose the Kartarpur Sahib, Nankana Sahib or Panja Sahib yatras.
Before you travel, read our Pakistan visa guide and our advice on travel insurance, or browse all our Sikh yatra tours in Pakistan.

We plan unhurried time for darshan, ardaas, kirtan and seva at each gurdwara, and langar is served at most of them. Tell us your wishes and we will plan the day around them.
We provide a Letter of Invitation for most nationalities, including Sikhs from the UK, Canada, the USA and Europe. Indian yatris usually travel under special government arrangements, and we can advise on the process.
Cover your head, remove your shoes and wash your feet before entering. Tobacco and alcohol are not allowed in gurdwaras. Modest dress is expected.
October to April is the most pleasant time. We can time the yatra around Vaisakhi (April) or Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Gurpurab (November). Read our guide to the best time to visit Pakistan.
