The Pakistan & Nepal Overland Tour is a 21-day journey from the Karakoram to the Himalaya: Islamabad, Hunza and Lahore in Pakistan, through India via Amritsar and Varanasi, and into Nepal for Lumbini, Pokhara and Kathmandu.
Pakistan and Nepal do not share a border, but the great overland route of South Asia links them through India. This journey connects the Karakoram of northern Pakistan with the Himalaya of Nepal, and the holy places of three faiths along the way.
The Pakistan Nepal Overland tour begins in Islamabad, Hunza and Lahore, crosses into India at Wagah (when open) for Amritsar and Varanasi on the Ganges, then enters Nepal at Sunauli for Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha, Pokhara and Kathmandu.
