Each year, the Lok Virsa heritage institute in Islamabad hosts a national folk festival. Craftspeople, musicians and dancers from Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir set up their workshops and stages side by side.
