Bringing a four-season tent, a minus-20 sleeping bag and crampons from home is expensive and heavy. When you rent trekking gear in Pakistan with TGA, everything is ready when you arrive: washed, checked and packed for your trek. You pay only for the days you use it.
Our gear is used every season on the Baltoro Glacier, Gondogoro La, Nanga Parbat base camps and the Hunza valleys, so we know what works at altitude. Gear can be collected in Islamabad, Skardu or Karimabad, or delivered to your hotel.

For hygiene reasons we do not rent boots, socks or base layers. Bring well-broken-in trekking boots from home.

Can I rent trekking gear in Pakistan?
Yes. You can rent sleeping bags, tents, down jackets, trekking poles, crampons and more from TGA in Islamabad, Skardu and Hunza.
Is rented gear good enough for K2 Base Camp?
Yes. Our high altitude package includes a -20°C sleeping bag and a warm down jacket that are used on the Baltoro Glacier every season.
Do you rent trekking boots?
No. For comfort and hygiene, please bring your own broken-in boots, socks and base layers.
Where do I collect the gear?
You can collect it in Islamabad, Skardu or Karimabad (Hunza), or we can deliver it to your hotel.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
A refundable deposit may be needed for high-value items. It is returned when the gear comes back in good condition.
Is gear included in TGA trekking tours?
Tents, kitchen and group gear are included in our camping treks. Personal items like sleeping bags can be rented separately.
