The Hunza Women-Only Tour is an 8-day trip to the Hunza Valley for women travellers, led by a female guide, meeting local women in their homes, cafés and craft workshops among forts, orchards and 7,000 m peaks.
Hunza is known for its high literacy and the strong role of women in community life. Women run cafés, craft workshops and guesthouses, and travelling as women makes it easy to be welcomed into their homes and kitchens.
On the Hunza Women Tour, led by a female guide, we visit Baltit and Altit forts, cook with a local family, meet women artisans and entrepreneurs, take a boat on Attabad Lake and walk the Hussaini bridge at Passu.

Every women's tour is led by an experienced female tour leader who travels with you from arrival to departure. Female guides are in high demand, so please book early.
We choose welcoming, well-reviewed hotels and carefully selected drivers, and your leader looks after you at all times. Drivers in Pakistan are usually men.
Loose, modest clothing that covers arms and legs is best, with a scarf for mosques and shrines. Your leader can help you shop for local clothes on day one.
