The Skardu Comfort Tour for Seniors is an 8-day gentle trip to Baltistan, flying both ways, with lakeside stays at Shangrila, a night in the heritage Shigar Fort and short, easy outings among the mountains.
Skardu offers some of the most peaceful places to stay in the Karakoram: the Shangrila Resort beside Lower Kachura Lake and the restored Shigar Fort, a 17th-century palace with lovely gardens. Both are ideal for relaxed days with mountain views.
On the Skardu Comfort Tour we fly both ways, spend two nights by the lake and one in Shigar Fort, and make short, easy outings to Upper Kachura Lake, Kharpocho Fort viewpoint and the Katpana desert by car.
