Our adventure begins in Mohenjo-Daro, where over 5000 years ago, the Indus Valley Civilization thrived, boasting a well-organized community with its own script, perfectly planned architectural structures, and a high level of artistic activity.
At the museum in Mohenjo-Daro, marvel at the artifacts that provide a glimpse into the grandeur of this ancient city. Next, we travel through the desert landscape to Makli Hill, home to one of the world’s biggest necropolises, with over one million tombs dating from the 14th to the 19th century. Admire the stunning sandstone carvings and glazed tiles that adorn these ancient tombs.
Continuing our journey, we visit the exquisitely decorated Shah Jehan Mosque in Thatta before exploring Hyderabad’s ancient forts. Experience the vibrant atmosphere of Hala’s colorful bazaars, where artisans showcase pottery, ceramic tiles, block printing, and woodwork.
Our tour then takes us to Sehwan, where we visit the famous shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, radiating piety and devotion. A boat ride on the Indus River takes us to Sadhu Bella Island near Sukkur, where we explore Hindu temples adorned with intricately carved statues.
In Uch, we marvel at beautiful tombs with blue glazed tiles reflecting Central Asian architecture. Multan awaits with its fascinating history, including the tombs of Bibi Jawindi and Jalaludin Surkh, and the shrines of Bahaudin Zakria and Shah Rukn-e-Alam.
Discover the ancient city of Harappa, another 5000-year-old excavation of the Indus Civilization, before we head to Lahore, the city of the Mughal Dynasty. Explore Lahore’s architectural wonders, including the Badshahi Mosque, Lahore Fort, Emperor Jehangir’s Tomb, and the Shalimar Gardens. Dive into Lahore’s old walled city, visit the Lahore Museum, and marvel at the beauty of the Wazir Khan Mosque.
