Muhammad Waleem was born on 1st January 2023 in the city of mountains, Gilgit Baltistan. As the first child in his family, he spent most of his childhood in Gilgit City with his parents. This beautiful, serene environment played a key role in shaping his deep connection to nature and adventure
Education
His educational journey began in Gilgit, where he attended a private school. Known for his curiosity, he was an inquisitive student, always asking questions and seeking knowledge. In August 2019, he joined Cadet College Hasanabdal on a fully funded scholarship—considered one of the best boarding schools not only in Pakistan but in all of South Asia. There, he spent five years, forging a lasting friendship with Saria Abdur Rehman, who became the right hand of the founder and the backbone of The Golden Adventure.
Currently, he is pursuing his Bachelor’s degree from a local university in Gilgit, with plans to further his education in Hospitality and Tourism in the US or Europe to solidify the foundation of The Golden Adventure.
The Birth of The Golden Adventure
The idea for The Golden Adventure was born during Waleem’s time in 11th grade at Cadet College. After sharing his dream with his best friend Saria and his uncle Muhammad Asif Khan, they were all in agreement, and together, they started the company from their college room. The journey began small but with big dreams, leading to the creation of one of the leading travel companies in Pakistan.
Philanthropic Work
Waleem has always been recognized for his philanthropic efforts. He is the Founding President and a Board Member of Ar Razzaq Foundation, a youth-led international NGO that has raised over Rs. 3 Million for education and women’s empowerment. His work includes building two vocational training centers in the remote regions of Gilgit Baltistan, aimed at empowering women. Currently, he is also focused on Girls Education through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives of The Golden Adventure.
